Historical Five Doors Castle
Five Doors Castle is located in the city center of Foça and was built by Michel Paleoloc in 1275 and left to the Genoese Zacharna. The castle was repaired over time by the Genoese. The 5 gates at the front of the castle give its name to the castle.

According to the inscription at the entrance of Beş Kapılar Castle, the tower was repaired between 1538 and 1539 during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent.
